PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
HCA WL CABLE is a technical, water-borne intumescent coating. In case of fire or massive heatrelease it forms a protective layer of charred foam, which functions as a thermo-insulation for grouped electrical cables and prevents the propagation of fire. Moreover, HCA WL CABLE generates no extra insulation of the cable, so there is no temperature rise of the cores and sheathes in the cables. This has been tested according the CSN 33 2000-5-523.
HCA WL CABLE provides a smooth surface after application. The product is standard delivered in white. It is possible, however, to add universal colouring additives in order to obtain various standard RAL-colours. In combination with HCA TOPCOAT, a waterborne protective finish, which comes in almost every RAL colour, a decorative satisfactory sight is guaranteed. HCA WL CABLE meets the highest demands for quality, and enables the profile of the grouped cables to be retained as an aesthetic feature.
HCA WL CABLE is a ready-for-use paint dispersion. It is easy to work with by means of airless spray, brush or roller. The flexible characteristics of HCAWL CABLE guarantee a long life span.
