HCA WL 90 SB EXTERIOR

HCA WL 90 SB EXTERIOR is a solvent based fire resistant coating for interior and exterior C1-C4 conditions (ISO 12944) to protect structural steel up to 90 minutes. HCA WL 90 SB EXTERIOR has been tested according to British Standard 476; part 21 and assessed by Warrington Fire. HCA WL 90 SB EXTERIOR has also been assessed in accordance with the Dutch Standard NEN 6072:2001. HCA WL 90 SB EXTERIOR is available together with other HCA quality products, all complying with the same high standards.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Intumescent coatings react under the influence of great heat release like fire. Because of the heat the coating expands many times the original layer thickness producing an insulating carbon char. The carbon char will protect the steel from the effects of fire.

In addition to the fire resistant function, HCA intumescent coatings will provide a smooth, aesthetic satisfying finish, which is durable and easy to maintain. The steel is fully protected against fire, with a system that has all the decorative qualities of a conventional paint.

HCA WL 90 SB EXTERIOR is an intumescent coating for indoor and outdoor application. It is developed for on-site and off-site application. HCA WL 90 SB can be exposed for 9 months in outdoor situations without a topcoat.
