HCA POLYMER PAC

HCA Polymer PAC is a halogen-free, very stable powdery fire retardant which is particularly suitable to be applied in polyamide. It consists of a mixture of melamine salts.

PROPERTIES

HCA Polymer PAC proves to be very effective already from low concentrations. It is thermally very stable and has a slight volatility. Consequently it is possible to add the product during the production process at high temperatures without loss caused by decomposition and/or vaporization. The decomposition temperature is above 350°C. HCA Polymer PAC does not affect the colour of the end product. It is advised to do tests. HCA Polymer PAC is not hygroscopic. Gasses arising from decomposition do not contain halogens.
