FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT

FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT is an environment-friendly, fire-resistant spray mortar, which protects outdoor constructions against fire. Steel and concrete constructions that have been treated with FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT comply with BS 476 Part 21 (tested according carbon-hydroxide curve) and similar International Standards. Because of its unique composition FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT is non-toxic during application as well as in case of fire. Therefore it does not form any harmful or corrosive gasses.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT is a spray mortar based on exfoliated vermiculite. Vermiculite is an incombustible thermal insulation material, which absorbs humidity and sound and has a great resistance against high temperatures.

Because of its specific heat-resistant features FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT is particularly suitable to protect outdoor constructions against fire. Steel as well as concrete constructions can be covered with the spray mortar. The product will keep its structure, even after continuous exposure to high temperatures. Therefore, in case of fire or great heat release, treated constructions will keep their load-bearing capacity, escape routes remain open and buildings intact for a longer period. At the same time fire compartments are easily realized and flame spread is combated.

FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT is delivered as a dry mixture, and has to be mixed on site with clean water. Then it can be sprayed as wet mortar. After application and drying the product has a porous structure en a decorative finish.

FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT has been specifically designed for application in climatologically changing environments. For better aesthetic reasons FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT can be finished with HCA SPRAYMORTAR TOPCOAT on top of FG SPRAYMORTAR VB EXT.
