HCA WL

HCA WL is a waterborne, environment-friendly fire resistant coating that protects besides structural steel also many decoration, timber and wood constructions against fire. HCA WL is an intumescent coating that is specially developed for indoor applications. Due to its unique composition, HCA WL is not toxic or corrosive. Treated products and applications come up to many international standards. HCA WL is available together with other HCA quality products, all complying with the same high standard.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Intumescent coatings react under the influence of great heat release like fire. Because of the heat the coating expands many times the original layer thickness producing an insulating carbon char. The carbon char will protect the surface from the effects of fire.

Beside the fire resistant function, HCA intumescent coatings will provide a smooth, aesthetic satisfying finish, which is durable and easy to maintain. The surface is fully protected against fire, with a system that has all the decorative properties of a conventional paint.

HCA WL is a waterborne , intumescent coating designed for indoor applications. The standard white colour can be coloured with an universal. pigment, to several colours. For an extra decorative appearance, as well as better protection against moisture and dirt, HCA WL can be finished with HCA TOPCOAT.

Beside structural steel and constructions HCA WL can be applied on various surfaces, such as chip board, plywood, isolation board, doors and paperboard as well as on several foams and plastics.
