Timber has been a favoured construction and decoration material from the beginning of civilization. The fire safe use of wood and timber products is a problem of every day.

Flame Guard provides excellent solutions for wooden ceilings, linings or claddings. But also walls, panels and decorative wood can be made fire resistant using Flame Guard’s fire retardant wood products.

Every type of wood has its own unique characteristics. For example the absorption properties of Soft board and Pine wood are significantly different from Bamboo, Plywood or MDF panels. Fireproofing absorbent wood types can be done easily with impregnating liquids. Non absorbent wood types can made fire retardant best with a (transparent) coating.
