HCA 40 fire retardant is an odour and colourless fire retardant liquid, which can easily be absorbed by porous materials. After drying, the active substances of HCA 40 fire retardant remain behind and give make the material its fire retardant qualities.

When the correct quantity is used, HCA 40 fire retardant has hardly any or no influence on the appearance of the treated material. Moreover the product is extremely user-friendly. It is easy to apply by means of a simple spray, it is nontoxic and does not irritate skin and eyes. The pH value of the product is neutral.
