HCA 40 FOR VACUUM IMPREGNATION

HCA 40 IMP fire retardant is a water-based, non-toxic fire-retardant liquid for treatment of wood through the vacuum- impregnation method.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

With the colour- and odourless formula of HCA 40 IMP fire retardant all types of wood can be treated by means of vacuumimpregnation. Special components provide HCA 40 IMP fire retardant with a very good penetrating capacity. Pinewood for example gives a result of about 3 mm to 20 mm penetration of the product.

HCA 40 IMP fire retardant has a neutral pH-value, is environment- and user-friendly. It is non-toxic and does not irritate skin nor eyes. The Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is of a domestic waist level. As the ratio Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD)/Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) is larger than 0,5, HCA 40 IMP fire retardant can be regarded as biodegradable.
